Recipe Overview:
In this Post I share the recipe Coconut Onion Tomato Chutney. First we fry and cook onion,tomato,coconut along with spice powders.Then grind it into paste.Prepare seasoning and pour over the chutney.Served with idly,dosa,etc.,

Ingredients:
Onion(Roughly Chopped) 1 No.
Tomato(Roughly Chopped) 2 Nos.
Grated Coconut 1/4 Cup.
Green Chilly 1 or 2 Nos.
Garlic Cloves 3 Nos.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Red Chilly Powder 1 Tsp.
Urud Dal 1 Tsp.
Coconut Oil 3 Tsp..
Salt to Taste.
For Seasoning/Tempering:
Coconut Oil 2 Tsp.
Mustard Seeds 1 Tsp.
Curry Leaves Few.
Step By Step Instructions:
- Heat coconut oil in a pan.Seasoning with urud dal.
- Add onion,garlic,tomato,green chilly to it and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,salt and fry it well until raw smell goes out.
- Add grated coconut to it and fry for 1 minute.
- Turn off the stove and cool down completely.
- Transfer to the mixie jar and grind it into fine paste.Transfer to the serving bowl.
- Heat coconut oil in the same pan.Season with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Pour the seasoning over the chutney.
- Now our Coconut Onion Tomato Chutney is ready to serve with Idly,Dosa,Vada,etc.,
