Recipe Overview:
In this Post I share the recipe Tomato Garlic Chutney. First we blend tomatoes,garlic cloves,red chilly powder,sugar and Salt into fine paste. Then heat Oil in a pan add the paste and boil it until the raw smell goes out.In another pan,season with sesame oil,mustard seed,urud dal,cumin(jeera) and curry leaves. Pour it on the chutney.This Dish can be served with idly,dosa,etc.,

Ingredients:
Tomato(Roughly Chopped) 4 Numbers.
Garlic Cloves 10 to 12 Numbers.
Kashmir Red Chilly Powder 1 Tbsp.
Sugar 1/4 Tsp.
Salt to Taste.
Oil 1 Tbsp.
Black Lentils(Urud Dal) 1 Tsp.
Mustard Seeds 1 Tsp.
Cumin(Jeera) 1 Tsp.
Sesame Oil 1 Tbsp.
Water as Required.
Curry Leaves Few.
Step By Step Instructions:
- Roughly chop tomatoes and garlic.
- In a mixie jar add tomato,garlic,kashmir red chilly powder,sugar and salt and grind it into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add the grinded paste and little water and cover and boil it until the raw smell goes out.
- Now our Tomato Garlic Chutney is ready. Transfer it into a serving bowl.
- Prepare the seasoning by heating sesame oil in pan, add mustard,black lentil(urud dal),cumin(jeera) and curry leaves.
- Serve the Tomato Garlic Chutney with Idly/Dosa.
