Restaurant Style Paneer Butter Masala


Paneer Butter Masala is one of the most popular sidedish gravy in the Indian Cuisine. It is the best combination for naan,roti,chapathi. Here I share the recipe of Paneer Butter Masala in Restaurant Style.

Recipe Overview:

In this Post I share the recipe Restaurant Style Paneer Butter Masala. First in a pan heat oil and butter,season with jeera. Add Onion,green chilly,curry leaves,ginger garlic paste,tomato,salt,sugar and fry it well. Then add the spice powders and fry it well. Then add dry fenugreek leaves/kasthuri methi and fry. Then add water and boil.Add tomato ketchup mix well and boil.Then add paneer and mix well.Then add fresh cream, pepper powder,mix and boil it well.Now our Restaurant Style Paneer Butter Masala is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves and add few more butter to it and this dish can be served with naan,roti,chapathi,etc.,

Ingredients:

Paneer(cubed) 200 gms.
Onion(finely chopped) 3 Nos.
Tomato(finely chopped) 2 Nos.
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tsp.
Green Chilly(finely chopped) 2 Nos.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Kashmir Red Chilly Powder 1 Tbsp.
Coriander Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Cumin/Jeera Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Dry Fenugreek Leaves/Kasthuri Methi Few.
Tomato Ketchup 1 Tbsp.
Pepper Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Fresh Cream 2 Tbsp.
Cumin/Jeera 1 Tsp.
Water as Required.
Oil 3 Tbsp.
Butter 3 Tbsp.
Salt to Taste.
Sugar 1/4 Tsp.
Curry Leaves Few.
Coriander Leaves for Garnishing.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • Chop all the Vegetables as mentioned above.
  • Heat Oil and 2 tbsp butter in a pan,season with cumin/jeera.
  • Add Onions and fry it until it turns brown.
  • Add green chilly and curry leaves and fry.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry it well.
  • Add tomatoes,salt,sugar and fry it until raw smell goes out.
  • Add turmeric powder,kashmir chilly powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder,cumin/jeera powder and fry it well.
  • Add dry fenugreek leaves/kasturi methi and fry.
  • Add water and boil until onions and tomatoes cooked well.
  • Add tomato ketchup,mix and boil for 1 minutes.
  • Add cubed fresh paneer to it and boil for 1 minute.
  • Add fresh cream/malai mix and boil for 1 minute.
  • Add pepper powder and mix well.
  • Now our Restaurant Style Paneer Butter Masala is ready.
  • Add remaining butter and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve with naan,roti,chapathi,etc.,.

Heat Oil and butter together in a pan.


Season with cumin/jeera.


Add finely chopped onions.


Fry it well.


Add chopped green chilly and curry leaves.


Fry it well


Add ginger garlic paste.


Fry it well.


Add finely chopped tomatoes.


Fry for 30 secs.


Add salt and sugar.


Fry it well.


Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder and jeera/cumin powder.


Fry it well until raw smell goes out.


Add dry fenugreek leaves/kasthuri methi to it.


Fry it for 30 secs.


Add some water.


Boil it until onions and tomatoes cook well.


Add tomato ketchup.


Boil it for 1 minute.


Add paneer cubes.


Mix and boil it for 1 minute.


Add fresh cream/malai and boil for 1 minute.


Add pepper powder.


Add remaining butter and garnish with coriander leaves.


Now our Restaurant Style Paneer Butter Masala is ready,serve with naan,roti,chapathi,etc.,
