Cauliflower Dry Sabji

In this Post I share the recipe Cauliflower Dry Sabji. It is one of the simple recipe.First we blanch the cauliflower florets.Then we fry garlic,onion,tomato along with some spice powders.Then we add cauliflower and fry it well.Add some coriander leaves and serve.Now lets see the required ingredients and step by step instructions for this recipe...

Ingredients:

Cauliflower 250gms.
Garlic(Finely Chopped) 6 To 10 Nos.
Onion(Sliced) 2 Nos.
Tomato(Sliced) 2 Nos .
Green Chilly(Finely Chopped) 2 Nos.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Kashmir Red Chilly Powder 1 Tbsp.
Coriander Powder 1 Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Mustard Seeds 1 Tsp.
Oil 1 Tbsp.
Curry Leaves Few.
Coriander Leaves for Garnishing.
Water as Required.
Salt to Taste.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • Seperate the cauliflower florets.Heat water in a pan,add florets,turmeric powder and salt.Boil it for 5 minutes.Strain the left over water and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan,season with mustard and curry leaves.Add garlic,green chilly and fry until golden brown.
  • Add onion.Fry it well.
  • Add tomato,salt and fry it for 1 minute.
  • Add coriander powder,kashmir chilly powder,garam masala powder and fry it for 2 minutes.
  • Add the cauliflower,mix and fry it well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.Serve with rice,roti,etc.,


Pictorial Description:

Blanch the cauliflower with turmeric powder and salt.Keep it aside.


Heat oil in a pan,season with mustard seeds,garlic,green chilly and curry leaves.


Add onion and fry.


Add tomato and fry.


Add salt and fry.


Add kashmir chilly powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder to it and fry for 2 minutes.


Add cauliflower,mix and fry it well.


Garnish with coriander leaves.


Serve with rice,roti,paratha,etc.,
