Eggless Wheat Custard Powder Cookies


  Cookies are one of the favourite snacks arround the world especially kids.Here I share the recipe of Eggless Wheat Custard Powder Cookies that I have tried.

The snacks can be of two types fried snacks and non fried snacks.The non fried snacks are the snacks prepared by steaming,mixing,baking some ingredients with less oil or without using oil. Baking Concepts:

Baking is a process cooking food in indirect flame by using oven,simply like roasting food.We can use less amount of oil in baking than roasting in pan.We can make so many dishes including cakes,cookies,fries,pastries,breads,pizza,etc., Here I share some baking recipes link that I included in this blog.

Recipe Overview:

In this Post I share the recipe Eggless Wheat Custard Powder Cookies. First we make the cookie dough by kneading necessary ingredients.Make small balls,flat it and bake.Now we get a yummy cookies.Come on lets see the ingredients required and step by step instructons of this recipe.

Method:

Ingredients:

Wheat Flour 1 Cup.
Powdered Sugar 3/4 Cup.
Custard Powder 1/4 Cup.
Coconut Oil 1/4 Cup.
Baking Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Baking Soda 1/4 Tsp.
Vanilla Essence 1 Tsp.
Milk as Required to Knead the dough.
Nuts as Required.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • For preparing cookie dough,Take a mixing bowl,add 1 cup of wheat flour.
  • Add 3/4 cup of powdered sugar.
  • Add 1/4 cup of custard powder.
  • Add 1/2 tsp baking powder,1/4 tsp baking soda.
  • Add 1 tsp vanilla essense.
  • Add 1/4 cup of coconut oil.
  • Mix it well gently.
  • Add required milk and knead it gently to form a soft dough.
  • Seperate the dough into small balls and arrange it in the baking tray.
  • Flat it and put marks using fork.Add some nuts as topping.
  • Preheat the oven for 10 minutes on 180 degree celcius.
  • Bake the cookies for 15 minutes(timing may vary to 15 to 20 minutes based on the oven).
  • Tranfer the cookies to the cooling rack and cool down completely
  • Now our Eggless Wheat Custard Powder Cookies is ready. Enjoyed it with tea/coffee.


Pictorial Description:

Add 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/4 baking soda.

In this Post I share the recipe Veg Caserrole. First we cook the vegetables in white sauce.Then we bake the veggies along with bread crumbs,seasonings.Come on lets see the ingredients required and step by step instructons of this recipe.

Ingredients:

Cauliflower Florets 1/2 Cup.
Broccoli Florets 1/2 Cup.
Sweet Corn Kernels 1 Cup.
Chopped Beans,Carrot,Green Peas,Potato,Capsicum 2 Cups.
All Purpose Flour 2 Tbsp.
Milk 2 Cups.
Pepper Powder as Required.
All Purpose Seasoning as Required.
Red Chilly Flakes as Required.
Bread Crumbs 1/2 Cup.
Fresh Basils Few.
Cheese Slice 1 or 2 Nos.
Grated Cheese as Required.
Butter 1 Tbsp.
Oil 3 Tsp.
Water as Required.
Salt to Taste.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • Blanch the cauliflower and broccoli together in water for 5 minutes,strain the leftover water and keep it aside.
  • Heat butter and oil together in a pan.
  • Add all purpose flour and roast it well.
  • Add sweet corn and fry for a minute.
  • Add all the vegetables to it and mix it well.
  • Add milk,salt and pepper to it and fry for 1 minute.
  • Add little water,cover and cook the veggies 3/4 done.
  • Add the cheese slice and mix it well.
  • Greese a baking dish with butter.
  • Add the cooked veggies to the baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the bread crumbs over the veggies.
  • Sprinkle the grated cheese.
  • Sprinkle some seasonings,red chilly flakes,pepper,basil leaves.
  • Preheat the oven for 10 minutes on 190 degree celcius.
  • Bake it for 25 minutes(timing may vary to 20 to 30 minutes based on the oven).
  • Now our Veg Caserrole is ready. Serve hot.


Pictorial Description:

Blanch the cauliflower,broccoli florets in water for 5 minutes.Strain and keep it aside.


Heat butter and oil together in a pan.


Add all purpose flour and roast it well.


Add 1 cup sweet corn to it and fry for a minute.


Add all the veggies.


Add milk to it and mix well.


Add salt and pepper.Mix it well


Add little water.Cover and cook the veggies 3/4 th done.


Add cheese slice.


Mix it well.Turn off the stove.


Greese the baking dish with butter.


Transfer the cooked veggies to the baking dish.


Sprinkle some bread crumbs.


Add grated cheese to it.Sprinkle some all purpose seasonings,red chilly flakes,fresh basils over it.


Preheat the oven for 10 minutes on 180 degree celcius.Bake it for 25 minutes(timing may vary 20 to 25 minutes based on the oven).


Now our Veg Caserrole is ready.Serve hot.

Kids Favourite Eggless Whole Wheat Milk Cookies By Raji's Smart Kitchen "Cook Food in a Smart Way".


Cookies are one of the favourite snacks for all especially kids.Nowadays for kids online classes are going on.For them we want prepare some munchies for eatting in a break time like fruits,biscuits,cookies,snacks,etc.,But they have to eat in less time.So I decided to prepare milk cookies for him.My kid likes it very much and told me to make more cookies.Here I share the recipe of how to make kids favourite eggless whole wheat milk cookies that I have tried.

This milk cookies is one of the easiest cookies.We can also prepare the dough and stored it in the freezer for upto one or two weeks.We take the required dough out,thawed it and bake whenever you need cookies.Come on lets see the required ingredients and the step by step instruction for this recipe.

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes Baking Time: 20 to 25 Minutes Serving: 2

Ingredients:

Butter 1 Tbsp.
Powdered Sugar 2 Tbsp.
Whole Wheat Flour 2 Tbsp.
Corn Starch/Flour 1/4 Cup.
Milk Powder 2 Tbsp.
Baking Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Vanila Extract 1 Tsp.
Milk 2 to 3 Tsp.


Step By Step Instructions:
  • Take a mixing bowl,add 1 tbsp butter,2 tbsp of powdered sugar,mix it well until it forms creamy.
  • Add 1/4 cup corn flour,2 tbsp milk powder,2 tbsp whole wheat flour and combine it well.
  • Add 1 tsp vanila extract,1/4 tsp baking powder and give a good mix.
  • Add 2 to 3 tsp milk and gently knead it to form a soft dough.
  • Roll it out and make some shapes using cookie cutter.Assemble it in the baking tray.
  • Preheat the oven for 180 degree celcius.Place the tray into it and bake it for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Cool down it completely.
  • Our Kids Favourite Eggless Whole Wheat Milk Cookies is ready.Enjoy....

Pictorial Description:

Take butter in a mixing bowl.


Add powdered sugar.


Beat until creamy.


Add corn flour.


Add milk powder.


Add baking powder.


Combine.


Add wheat flour.


Give a good mix.


Add vanilla extract.


Add little milk.


Knead it to form a soft dough.


Roll the dough and cut it into desired shapes.Assemble it on the baking tray.


Bake it for 15 to 20 minutes on 180 degree celcius in a preheated oven.

Note:

For pan baking,place a wire rack inside a pan,cover and preheat for 10 minutes.Now place the cookies tray into it,cover and bake it for 15 to 30 minutes in low flame.
