snacks.The non fried snacks are the snacks prepared by
steaming,mixing,baking some ingredients with less oil or without
using oil. The non fried snacks includes cakes,salads,chaat,etc.,

In this Post I share the recipe Masala Rice Balls(Masala Kuzhukattai). First we make rice balls for that we prepare a dough by combining rice flour,grated coconut,salt and hot water.Now we make small balls and steam it.Next we prepare masala seasoning for that we heat oil in a pan and fry some veggies along with spice powders.Finally we add the steamed rice balls into it and mix well.We get a yummy healthy snacks for evening tea/coffee.Come on lets see the ingredients required and step by step instructons of this recipe.

Ingredients:
For Rice Balls:
Rice Atta 2 Cup.
Grated Coconut as Required.
Hot Water as Required to Knead the dough.
Salt to Taste.
For Masala Seasoning:
Onion(finely chopped) 1 Nos.
Tomato(finely chopped) 2 Nos.
Capsicum(finely chopped) 1 Nos.
Green Chilly(finely chopped) 1 Nos.
Ginger(finely chopped) 1 inch.
Garlic(finely chopped) 2 or 3 cloves.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Red Chilly Powder 1 Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Urud Dal 1 Tsp.
Jeera 1 Tsp.
Mustard Seeds 1 Tsp.
Curry Leaves Few.
Oil 1 Tbsp.
Salt to Taste.
Coriander Leaves For Garnishing.
Step By Step Instructions:
- For preparing rice ball,take a wide bowl,add rice flour,grated coconut,salt and hot water.
- Mix it well and knead it to form a soft dough.
- Make small balls and steam it for 10 mins.Keep it aside.
- Now we prepare masala seasoning for that heat oil in a pan.
- Season with mustard,jeera,urud dal and curry leaves.
- Add ginger,green chilly and garlic and fry.
- Add chopped onion and fry.
- Add chopped tomato and fry.
- Add chopped capsicum and fry it well.
- Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder and garam masala powder,salt and fry it well.
- Now add the steamed rice balls and mix it well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Now our Masala Rice Balls(Masala Kuzhukattai) is ready. Enjoyed it with your tea time.
