Indian Street Food Ragda Puri Chaat By Raji's Smart Kitchen "Cook Food in a Smart Way".


Chaat Foods are one of the favourite street food arround India which is prepare by mixing raw veggies,chaat masala, chutneys, golgappas(puri), sev,etc.,. Here I share the recipe of Indian Street Food Ragda Puri Chaat.

When we go for outings,we dole out some chaat varieties.But I have a constant thought in my mind is to make chaat at home and eat in a hygienical manner.So I start to try chaat recipes in home.First I try this Ragda Puri Chaat and it comes out excellent even it gives more taste.
In this Post I share the recipe Indian Street Food Ragda Puri Chaat.First we prepare peas masala by pressure cook peas along with some spice powders.Next the time for plating for that we take some instant panipuri(golgappe),add the peas masala,then add few onion,tomato,chilli,add tamarind(imli/sweet chutney),pudina chutney,chaat masala and salt.Garnish with some coriander leaves and sev. Now our mouthwatering Ragda Puri Chaat is ready.Enjoy...Come on lets see the required ingredients and the step by step instruction for this recipe.

Ingredients:

For Peas Masala:

White Peas 1 Cup.
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tsp.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Red Chilly Powder 1 Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Dry Mango Powder(Amchur Powder) 1/2 Tsp.
Water as Required.
Cumin Seeds(Jeera) 1 Tsp.
Oil 2 Tbsp.
Salt to Taste.

For Plating:

Instant Panipuri(Golgappe) as Required.
Chopped Onion as Required.
Chopped Tomato as Required.
Chopped Green Chilly as Required.
Tamarind(Imli/Sweet) Chutney as Required.
Mint(Pudina/Green) Chutney as Required.
Chaat Masala 1/2 Tsp(Per Serving).
Nylon Sev as Required.
Coriander Leaves for Garnishing.


Step By Step Instructions:
  • Soak 1 cup of white peas for 8 hours/overnight.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and season with cumin seeds(jeera).
  • Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder,red chilly powder and fry.
  • Add the soaked white peas,salt,water and pressure cook it for 10 whistles.
  • Add garam masala powder,dry mango(amchur) powder,mix and boil it for 1 minute.The peas masala is ready.
  • Now it's a time for plating for that take a plate/bowl.
  • Assemble the roughly crushed instant panipuri(golgappe).
  • Pour the peas masala over it.
  • Add few chopped onion,tomato and green chilly.
  • Add tamarind chutney(imli/sweet chutney),mint(pudina/green) chutney to it.
  • Sprinkle some chaat masala.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and nylon sev.
  • Now our mouthwatering Ragda Puri Chaat is ready. Enjoy...

Pictorial Description:

Soak 1 cup of white peas.


Heat oil in a pressure cooker Add cumin seeds,ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder and red chilly powder.


Fry it well.


Add the soaked white peas.


Mix it well.


Add required salt and water.Pressure cook it for 10 whistle.


Now the white peas is cooked well.


Add the garam masala powder and dry mango(amchur) powder to it.


Fry it well and boil for 1 minute. Now our white peas masala is ready.


Now it's time for plating.Roughly crush instant panipuri(golgappe),assemle in the plate.


Pour the required white peas masala over it.


Add few chopped onion,tomato,green chilly to it.


Add tamarind chutney,mint(pudina/green) chutney(Here I'm using green chutney powder) and chaat masala powder. .


Garnish with some coriander leaves and nylon sev.


Now our Mouthwatering Ragda Puri Chaat is ready.Enjoy..


Note:

For this recipe we use white peas which takes little more time to cook so you must soak it for minimum 8 hours or overnight and number whistles for pressure cooking can be varied.

Serving Suggestions:

This Indian Street Food Ragda Puri Chaat can be served fresh and dole out immediately.If you made for parties/guests,you can set gravy,cut veggies,chaat masalas & chutneys,sev in seperate bowls.At dinner time you can assemble and serve it to the guest immediately.

In this Post I share the recipe Crispy Corn Flakes Chaat.It is one of the simple and easy recipe and also it becomes favourite for our kids.My son loved and enjoyed this snacks very much.Come on lets see the required ingredients and the step by step instruction for this recipe.

Ingredients:

For Single Serving:

Instant Corn Flakes 1 Cup.
Peanuts(Ground Nuts) 1/4 Cup.
Finely Chopped Dates 2 to 3 Nos.
Finely Chopped Onion as Required.
Finely Chopped Tomato as Required.
Finely Chopped Cucumber as Required.
Finely Chopped Curry Leaves Few.
Finely Chopped Coriander Leaves Few.
Red Chilly Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Chaat Masala 1/4 Tsp.
Honey Few Drops.
Cumin Seeds(Jeera) 1/2 Tsp.
Ghee 1 Tsp.
Salt to Taste.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • Heat ghee in a pan,add peanuts and roast it well.
  • Add instant corn flakes and roast it well until crispy.
  • Add jeera,red chilly powder,chaat masala,required salt.Give a good mix.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Add chopped dates(If you don't have dates you can use sweet chutney).
  • Add required onion,tomato,cucumber,curry leaves,coriander leaves.
  • Finally add few drops of honey.
  • Give a good mix.Our Crispy Corn Chaat is ready.Serve it with tea/coffee.


Pictorial Description:

Heat ghee in a pan,add 1/4 cup peanuts and roast it well.


Add a cup of instant corn flakes and roast it until it becomes crispy.


Add cumin seeds,red chilly powder,chaat masala and required salt.Give a good mix.


Transfer to the serving bowl.


Add 2 or 3 chopped dates.


Add the required chopped onion,tomato,cucumber.


Add few chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves.


Add few honey drops.Mix it well.


Our Crispy Corn Flakes Chaat is ready.Enjoy with Tea or Coffee.

  Mexican Recipes are like tacos,quesadillas,tortilla wraps which had the fillings made of minced meat,veggies,sauces,cheese,etc.Taco Mexicana(Crispy Potato Tacos) is one of the Mexican recipe made of homemade tacos loaded with potatoes.Here I share the recipe that I have tried.

Potato is one of the key ingredient used in this recipe. Potatoes are one of the vegetables used by peoples all over the world. In this Post I share the recipe Taco Mexicana(Crispy Potato Tacos). First we prepare usual chapathi/roti dough for making tocos.Make chapathies and toast it.Then we made the potato filling by adding the seasoning.Assemble the tocos and swallow fry in oil.We get a yummy healthy snacks for evening tea/coffee.Come on lets see the ingredients required and step by step instructons of this recipe.

Ingredients:

For Dough:

Wheat Flour 2 Cup.
Oil 2 Tsp.
Sugar 1/4 Tsp.
Water for Kneading the Dough.
Salt to Taste.

For Potato Filling :

Potato 4 Nos.
Coriander Leaves Few.
Black Pepper 1/2 Tsp.
Red Chilly Flakes as Required.
Chaat Masala 1/2 Tsp.
Salt to Taste.

For Assembling and Frying :

Tomato Sauce as Required.
Mozzarella Cheese as Required.
Black Pepper Powder as Required.
Red Chilly Flakes as Required.
Oil for Frying.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • For preparing dough,take a wide bowl,add wheat flour,sugar,oil,salt and water.
  • Mix it well and knead it to form a soft dough.
  • Make small balls and roll it as like chapathies.
  • Heat the tawa and toast it both sides 30 secs each without adding oil.
  • Now our tacos shells are ready.Keep it aside.
  • For preparing fillings,boil potatoes and grate it.Transfer it into a mixing bowl.
  • Add black pepper powder,chaat masala powder,red chilly flakes,salt and few coriander leaves to it.
  • Mix it well.Now our potato filling is ready.
  • Now its time for assembling for that take a taco shell.
  • Spread the tomato sauce over it.
  • Now add the potato filling on one half side of the toco.
  • Add mozzarella cheese over it.
  • Add some more black pepper and chilly flakes.
  • Fold the other half side.
  • Heat a tawa.Add little oil for frying.
  • Place the taco over it and fry on both sides until it becomes crispy.
  • Now our Tacos Mexicana(Crispy Potato Tocos) are ready.Enjoy it with tea/coffee.
