Indian Street Food Anda(Egg) Ghotala


 Anda(Egg) Ghotala is one of the popular street food of Surat,India which is served with Pav. Here I share the recipe of Indian Street Food Anda(Egg) Ghotala that I have tried.

Recipe Overview:

In this Post I share the recipe Indian Street Food Anda(Egg) Ghotala for that we make a hard boiled egg and a half fried egg(bull's eye).Fry veggies along with some spice powders.Add the eggs and fry it well. Add some coriander leaves.We can serve this with toasted pav,sliced onion and lemon. Now lets see the required ingredients and step by step instructions for one serving...

Ingredients:

For One Serving:

Eggs 2 Numbers.
Onion(Finely Chopped) 1 Number.
Green Chilly 2 Numbers.
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tsp.
Coriander Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Red Chilly Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Amchur(Dry Mango) Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Egg Masala Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Pepper Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Oil 1 Tbsp.
Water as required.
Salt to Taste.
Coriander Leaves for Garnishing.
Pav/Onion Slices/Lemon as Required for Serving.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • Boil an egg.Chop and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan,drop an egg,add salt and pepper powder and make a half fried egg(bulls eye).Keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan,add onion and fry it until soft.
  • Add green chilly,ginger garlic paste to it and fry for 1 minute.
  • Add coriander powder,red chilly powder,garam masala powder,amchur(dry mango powder) and fry for 1 minute.
  • Add the chopped boil egg and mix well.
  • Add little water and cook it for 1 minute.
  • Add some coriander leaves and egg masala powder to it.Mix and mash it well using potato masher.
  • Now add the half fried egg into it.Scramble and fry it well.
  • Toast the pav by applying butter either in microwave or pan for serving.
  • Now our Indian Street Food Anda(Egg) Ghotala is ready.Enjoy with pavs...

Fry it well.


Add the chopped egg.


Mix it well.


Add little water.


Add some coriander leaves.


Add egg masala powder.


Mash it well.


Fry it well.


Now add the half fried egg.


Scramble and fry it well.

Broccoli Egg Podimas(Scrambled Egg with Broccoli) By Raji's Smart Kitchen "Cook Food in a Smart Way".


While inspecting my fridge for meal preparation,I got a broccoli which is not so big to make a gravy like dish.I'm keep on thinking what we cook using this broccoli either put it in pulav or make a pesto.I already planned to make egg podimas as side dish for lunch.I got an idea of why do we add there broccoli to that egg podimas.The output comes awesome and everyone in my house enjoyed it well.Here I share the recipe of how to make Broccoli Egg Podimas(Scrambled Egg with Broccoli) that I have tried.

You know broccoli has more vitamin C than the citrus fruits.So it can build our immunity level.So we use broccoli occasionally in our diet.Using broccoli we make gravy,pakoda,fry,pasta,casseroles,pulav,etc.,Now we talk about egg it is one of the less expensive protein and also it's calcium content makes our bone healthy.So I give atleast one egg daily to my kid in the form of boiled egg,omelette,muffins(which was his favourite so I include veggies in it),pancakes,etc., I cooked this recipe using butter which gives awesome taste for it.So you can also try it using butter if available.Come on lets see the required ingredients and the step by step instruction for this recipe.

Ingredients:

Broccoli 200 Gms.
Egg 4 Nos.
Onion(Sliced) 1 No.
Tomato(Fine Chopped) 1 No.
Green Chilly(Fine Chopped) 1 or 2 Nos.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Red Chilly Powder 1 Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Red Chilly Flakes as Required.
Black Pepper Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Salt to Taste.
Butter 1 Tbsp.
Oil 3 Tsp.
Water as Required.
Curry Leaves(Finely Chopped) Few.
Coriander Leaves for Garnishing.


Step By Step Instructions:
  • Chop the broccoli in to small florets.Heat water in a pan,add the broccoli and little salt to it.Blanch(Boil) it for 5 minutes.Strain the leftover water and keep it aside.
  • Heat butter and oil together in a pan,add onion,green chilly,curry leaves and saute it until soft.
  • Add tomato,turmeric powder,red chilly powder,garam masala powder and required salt.Fry it until raw smell goes out.
  • Now add the broccoli,give a good mix.Cook it for 5 minutes so that the water content in the broccoli released out.
  • Now add eggs,red chilly flakes,black pepper powder into it.
  • Gently mix and leave for 30 seconds.
  • Scramble it well for 1 minute.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.Now Our Broccoli Egg Podimas(Scrambled Egg with Broccoli) is ready to serve with rice,chapathi,bread,etc.,

Chop the broccoli florets.


Blanch broccoli in water for 5 minutes.Strain the leftover water.


Heat butter and oil.


Add onion,green chilly and fry until soft.


Add few curry leaves.


Add tomato,spice powders and salt.Fry it well.


Add broccoli


Mix and cook it for 5 minutes.


Add eggs,red chilly flakes,black pepper powder.


Gently mix and leave for 30 seconds.


Scramble it well.


Turn off the stove.Garnish with coriander leaves.


Now our Yummy Broccoli Egg Podimas(Scrambled Egg with Broccoli) is Ready.Serve with rice,chapathi,etc.,


Note:

While heating butter,add little oil together so that the butter won't become brown.
The egg scrambled must be neither loose nor hard.It must be in between state.

Serving Suggestions:

This Broccoli Egg Podimas(Scrambled Egg with Broccoli) can be served with rice,chapathi,bread,rolls,etc.,

In this Post I share the recipe Hotel Style Egg Curry. First we prepare a base gravy by sauting onion,ginger garlic paste,tomato and spice powders.Then we add the coconut paste and boil.Finally we add the boiled eggs and masala powder and boil. Garnish with Coriander Leaves. This Dish can be the served with paratha, chapathi, roti, naan, etc.,

Ingredients:

Boil Eggs 6 Numbers..
Onion(Chopped) 3 Number.
Tomato(Chopped) 2 Number.
Green Chilly 2 Nos.
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tsp.
Grated Coconut 1/4 Cup.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Red Chilly Powder 1 Tsp.
Coriander Powder 1 Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Egg Masala Powder 1 Tbsp.
Coconut Oil 2 Tbsp.
Salt to Taste.
Water as Required.
Curry Leaves Few.
Coriander Leaves for Garnishing.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • First we grind coconut into smooth paste and keep it aside.
  • Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry onion until it turn golden brown color.
  • Add green chilly,curry leaves to it.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry.
  • Add Tomato to it and fry.
  • Add salt and fry it well until it forms a gravy
  • Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder and fry it well.
  • Add water and boil it for 2 minutes.
  • Now add the coconut paste and little water,mix it well and boil it until the gravy becomes thick.
  • Add the boiled eggs,egg masala powder and mix it well.
  • Boil it for 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with Coriander Leaves.
  • Now our Hotel style Egg Curry is ready. Serve with Paratha,Roti,Chapathi,Naan,etc.,

In a mixie jar,add grated coconut.


Grind it into a smooth paste.


Heat coconut oil in a pan.


Add chopped onions and fry.


Add curry leaves and green chilly.


Add ginger garlic paste and fry.


Add chopped tomato and fry.


Add salt and fry until it forms into gravy.


Add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder to it.


Fry it well.


Add water to it and boil for 2 minutes.


Add coconut paste to it.


Add little water and boil for 2 minutes.


Add the boiled eggs to it.


Add egg masala powder to it.


Mix it well and boil for 3 minutes.


Garnish with coriander leaves.


Now our Hotel Style Egg Curry is ready.Serve with parathas,roti,chapathi,etc.,
