Bhendi Simla Mirchi Masala(Ladyfinger Capsicum Masala) Best Side Dish for Chapathi/Roti/Rice By Raji's Smart Kitchen "Cook Food in a Smart Way"

In this Post I share the recipe Bhendi Simla Mirchi Masala(Ladyfinger Capsicum Masala). It is one of the simple and best sidedish for chapathi,roti,briyani,rice,etc., First we stir fry ladyfinger.Then we prepare base gravy add ladyfinger,capsicum along with spice powders and fry.Add fresh cream and serve.Come on let us see the ingredients and step by step procedure for this recipe

Ingredients:

Ladyfinger(Roughly Chopped) 100gms.
Capsicum(Roughly Chopped) 1 No.
Onion(Finely Chopped) 2 No.
Tomato(Finely Chopped/Pureed) 1 No.
Green Chilly(Finely Chopped) 1 or 2 Numbers.
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tsp.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Red Chilly Powder 1 Tsp.
Coriander Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Cumin/Jeera Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Kasthuri Methi(Dry Fenugreek Leaves) Few.
Fresh Cream 1 Tbsp.
Asafoetida(Hing) Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Cinnamon 1 No.
Cardamom 1 No.
Cloves 3 to 4 Nos.
Cumin seed 1 Tsp.
Mustard seed 1 Tsp.
Oil 2 Tbsp.
Sugar 1/4 Tsp.
Salt to Taste.
Water as Required.
Curry Leaves Few.
Coriander Leaves for Garnishing.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan,add the ladyfinger,fry it well until the stickiness goes out.Keep it aside.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan and season with mustard seeds,cumin seeds,cinnamon,cardamon,cloves. Add asafoetida(hing) powder and curry leaves
  • Add green chilly.Fry it well.
  • Add onion and fry it for 1 minute.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and fry it well until the raw smell goes out.
  • Add tomato and fry it well for 2 minutes.
  • Add turmeric powder,coriander powder,garam masala powder,red chilly powder,cumin powder,required salt and sugar.Fry it for 1 minute
  • Add few kasthuri methi and fry it for 1 minute.
  • Now add the ladyfinger and capsium and fry it for 2 minute
  • Add required water,cover and cook the vegetables.
  • Turn off the stove,add 1 tbsp fresh cream and mix it well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.Our Bhendi Simla Mirchi Masala(Ladyfinger Capsicum Masala) is ready.Serve with chapathi,roti,rice,etc.,

Add capsicum.


Add ladyfinger.


Fry it for 2 minutes.


Add required water.


Cover and cook.


Now it is done.Turn off the stove.


Add fresh cream.


Mix it well.


Garnish with coriander leaves.


Our Bhendi Simla Mirchi Masala(Ladyfinger Capsicum Masala) is ready.Serve with chapathi,roti,rice,etc.,
