Baby Corn Capsicum Butter Masala : Perfect Side Dish Curry/Gravy for Roti,Chapathi By Raji's Smart Kitchen "Cook Food in a Smart Way"

In this Post I share the recipe Baby Corn Capsicum Butter Masala.It it one of the simple and rich gravy for roti,chapathi.For this recipe we seperately stir fry the baby corn so that the raw smell goes out and it becomes crispy.Come on lets see the ingredients required and the detailed step by step instructions for making this recipe.

Ingredients:

Baby Corn(Roughly Chopped) 100 gms.
Capsicum(Roughly Chopped) 1 No.
Onion(Finely Chopped) 1 No.
Tomato(Finely Chopped) 1 No.
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tsp.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Coriander Powder 1 Tsp.
Kashmir Chilly Powder 1 1/2 Tsp.
Garam Masala Powder 1/2 Tsp.
Dry Fenugreek Leaves(Kasthuri Methi) Few.
Cumin Seeds(Jeera) 1 Tsp.
Fresh Cream 1 Tbsp.
Butter 3 Tbsp.
Oil 1 Tbsp.
Sugar 1/4 Tsp.
Salt to Taste.
Water as Required.
Curry Leaves Few.
Coriander Leaves for Garnishing.

For Base Gravy:

Roughly Chopped Onion 1 No.
Roughly Chopped Tomato 1 No.
Green Chilly 2 to 3 Nos.
Cashewnuts 5 to 10 Nos.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • Heat 1 tbsp butter in a pan,add the baby corn to it and fry it for 3 to 5 minutes and keep it aside.
  • Take the base gravy ingredients in a mixie jar.Grind it to a fine paste.Keep it aside.
  • Heat oil,1 tbsp butter together in a pan,season with cumin seeds and curry leaves.
  • Add onion to it and fry until golden brown.
  • Add tomato to it and fry until it mashes well.
  • Add the base gravy and mix it well.
  • Add the ginger garlic paste and fry it well until raw smell goes out.
  • Add salt and sugar and fry.
  • Add turmeric powder,coriander powder,red chilly powder and garam masala powder to it and fry it for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add kasthuri methi and fry it well.
  • Now add the fried baby corn along with capsium.Give a good mix.
  • Add required water,cover and cook well.
  • Turn off the stove,add fresh cream and give a good mix.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves,add 1 tbsp of butter,cover it for 5 minutes.
  • Our Baby Corn Capsicum Butter Masala is ready.Serve with roti,chapathi,paratha,etc.,

Add few kasthuri methi(dry fenugreek leaves) and fry.


Add fried baby corn along with capsicum.Give a good mix.


Add required water.


Cover and cook.


Turn off the stove,add fresh cream and mix it well.


Add a tbsp butter.Garnish with coriander leaves.


Cover and leave it for 5 minutes.


Our Baby Corn Capsicum Butter Masala is ready.Serve with Roti,Chapathi,Rice,etc.,
