In this Post I share the recipe Healthy Black Lentil(Black Urud Dal) Rice. First we roast black splited lentil(black splited urud dal) and fenugreek seeds in sesame oil. Then add washed rice,grated coconut,garlic,salt,water and pressure cook.Now our Healthy Black Lentil(Black Urud Dal) Rice

Ingredients:
Rice 1 1/2 Cup.
Splited Black Lentil(Black Urud Dal) 1/2 Cup.
Fenugreek Seeds(Methi) 1 Tsp.
Grated Coconut 1/2 Cup.
Garlic 5 to 10 Cloves.
Sesame Oil(Till Oil/Gingelly Oil) 1 Tsp.
Water 4 1/2 Cup.
Salt to Taste.
Step By Step Instructions:
- Heat sesame oil in a pressure cooker,roast fenugreek seeds,splited black lentils(black urud dal) well until the aroma comes out.
- Add washed rice and water.
- Add grated coconut,garlic,salt,mix and boil it for 2 minutes.
- Close the lid and Pressure cook it for 5 whistle.
- Now our Healthy Black Lentil(Urud Dal Rice) is Ready.Enjoy with any nonveg curry/gravy.

Take the ingredients
Heat sesame oil in a pressure cooker.
Add fenugreek seeds(methi).
Add splited black lentil(black urud dal) to it.
Roast it well until aroma comes out.
Add washed rice into it(Here I used our traditional brown matta rice,you can use any rice).
Add water.
Add grated coconut.
Add garlic and salt.
Mix it well.
Allow it to boil for 2 minutes.
Pressure cook it for 5 whistle.
Our Healthy Black Lentil Rice(Black Urud Dal Rice) is ready.
