Recipe Overview:
In this Post I share the recipe Oats Idly. First we roast the oats well and powder it. Then roast rawa.In a mixing bowl,add oats powder,rava,curd and mix well. Prepare a seasoning and saute the veggies. Add it to the batter along with little water and required salt to it. Wait for 10 minutes. Pour it in the idly plate and steam.Now our Instant Oats Idly is ready. Serve with some chutney,sambhar.

Ingredients:
Instant/Rolled Oats 1 Cup.
Rava 1 Cup.
Curd 1 1/4 Cup.
Chopped Onion as Required.
Chopped Green Chilly as Required.
Grated Carrot as Required.
Chopped Beans as Required.
Sweet Corn Kernels as Required.
Green Peas as Required.
Chopped Curry Leaves as Required.
Chopped Coriander Leaves as Required.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Cumin(Jeera) 1 Tsp.
Channa Dal 1 Tsp.
Urud Dal 1 Tsp.
Asafoetida(Hing) Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Mustard Seeds 1 Tsp.
Salt to taste.
Water as Required.
Oil 1 Tbsp and 1 Tsp.
Step By Step Instructions:
- Roast 1 cup of instant/rolled oats in dry pan/microwave.
- Transfer it into a mixie jar and grind it into a fine powder.
- Roast 1 cup of rawa in a pan by adding 1 tsp of oil.
- Take a mixing bowl and add the rawa,oats powder into it.
- Add curd,required salt to it. Mix it well.Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan,season with mustard seeds,cumin seeds,urud dal,channa dal,asafoetida and curry leaves.
- Add the required chopped onion,green chilly to it and fry.
- Add the carrot,geen peas,sweet corn kernels,beans,turmeric powder,required salt to it and fry it well.
- Add little water and cook the veggies 1/2 done.
- Add the veggies to the batter and mix it well.
- Add few coriander leaves.Now our batter is ready. Note: the batter must be thick.
- Grease oil to the plate,pour the batter into it.
- Arrange the plates to the idly pot.Steam it for 10 minutes.
- Now our Instant Oats Idly is ready.
- Transfer it to the plate and serve with chutney or sambhar.
