Egg Fried Poha


 Fried Rice is one of the popular and favourite dish all over the world.Here I share the recipe of how to make fried rice using flattened rice(poha/aval) that I have tried.

In this Post I share the recipe Egg Fried Poha(Aval) for that first we fry the veggies along with some sauces.Add the egg and fry.Lastly we add the aval/poha to it and fry it well.Our dish is ready. Now lets see the required ingredients and step by step instructions for this recipe...

Ingredients:

Flattened Rice(Poha/Aval) 1 1/2 Cup.
Egg 2 Nos.
Onion(Sliced) 1 Number.
Green Chilly 2 Numbers.
Garlic(Finely Chopped) 4 Cloves.
Cabbage(Sliced) 1 Cup.
Capsicum(Chopped) 1 No.
Carrot(Chopped) 1 Small Piece.
Beans(Chopped) 5 To 6 Nos.
Vinegar 1 Tsp.
Dark Soya Sauce 2 Tsp.
Red Chilly Sauce 1 Tsp.
Tomato Sauce 1 Tsp.
Pepper Powder 1 Tsp.
Sugar 1/4 Tsp.
Salt to Taste.
Spring Onion(Chopped) Few.
Sesame Oil(Nallennai/Til oil) 2 Tbsp.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • Wash the poha,strain the left over water.Add required salt,mix and keep it aside.
  • Add onion and fry it until soft.Add some spring onion greens to it.
  • Add the veggies,vinegar,salt and sugar to it and fry for 2 minutes on high flame.
  • Add chilly sauce,dark soya sauce,tomato sauce,1/2 tsp pepper powder to it and fry for 2 minute.
  • Make some space in the center,drop 2 eggs into it,add salt and pepper and make scrambled egg.
  • Mix egg and veggies together.
  • Add poha to it and mix it well.
  • Garnish with some spring onion.Now our Egg Fried Poha is ready.Enjoy...

Pictorial Description:

Wash the poha.Strain the leftover water.Add the required salt and mix it well.Keep it aside.


Chop the veggies.


Heat sesame oil in a pan.Fry garlic and green chilly.


Add onion and fry.


Add few spring onion.


Add capsicum,beans,carrot.


Add cabbage and fry it well for 2 minutes in high flame.


Add salt and sugar.


Add vinegar and fry.


Add dark soya sauce,red chilly sauce,tomato sauce and fry.


Add 1/2 tsp pepper powder and fry.


Make small space in the center.


Drop 2 eggs.Sprinkle salt and pepper over the eggs.


Scramble it well.


Mix it together with veggies.


Now add the poha and mix it well.


Add some spring onion greens.


Our Egg Fried Poha is ready.Serve it hot.
