Kanyakumari Special King Fish(Nei Meen/Surmai) Fry

In this Post I share the recipe Kanyakumari Special King Fish(Nei Meen/Surmai) Fry. It is one of the simple and traditional recipe in our place.First we marinate the fish with the spice powders.Then we swallow fry in oil and serve.Now lets see the required ingredients and step by step instructions for this recipe...

Ingredients:

King Fish(Nei Meen/Surmai) 1 Kg.
Red Chilly Powder 1 Tsp.
Turmeric Powder 1/4 Tsp.
Coriander Powder 1 Tsp.
Pepper Powder 1 Tsp.
Oil for Swallow Fry.
Salt to Taste.

Step By Step Instructions:
  • Cut and wash the fish for 3 times.
  • In a mixing bowl,add turmeric powder,red chilly powder,coriander powder,pepper powder,2 tsp oil,required salt and mix it well.
  • Add the fish slices and marinate it for 1/2 an hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan,add the fish slices into it and swallow fry on both sides.
  • Our Kanyakumari Special King Fish(Nei Meen/Surmai) Fry is ready.Serve hot.

Mix it well.


Add the fish slices.


Mix and marinate for 1/2 an hour.


Heat oil in a pan for swallow fry.


Add the fish slices and fry one side.


Flip it out and fry another side.


Our Kanyakumari Special King Fish(Nei Meen/Surmai) Fry is ready.Serve hot.
