Healthy Black Urud Dal Porridge is one of the traditional porridge(kanji) dish in our place which is the major breakfast dish of sundays.Karuveppilai Thovaiyal(Curry Leaves Raw Chutney) becomes the best combination for this porridge(kanji) dish. Here I share how to prepare this porridge(kanji) in rice/slow cooker.

Ingredients:
Rice 1 1/2 Cup.
Splited Black Urud Dal 1/2 Cup.
Fenugreek Seeds(Methi) 1 Tsp.
Thick Coconut Milk 1 Cup.
Garlic 15 to 25 Cloves.
Water 4 1/2 Cup.
Salt to Taste.
Step By Step Instructions:

Turn on the rice/slow cooker,add washed rice,black urud dal,fenugreek,garlic,salt to it.

Add water and cover,cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

Add coconut milk to it,mix and cook it for 2 minutes.

Now our Healthy Black Urud Dal Porridge(Kanji) is Ready.Enjoy with Karuveppilai Thovaiyal(Curry Leaves Raw Chutney).

Take the ingredients
Turn on the rice/slow cooker,add washed rice,black urud dal,fenugreek,garlic,salt to it.
